It is a special type of wood because its smoke purifies the environment and removes bad energies when you burn Palo Santo. The aroma is earthy and natural, but at the same time mystical.

What exactly is Palo Santo?

Palo Santo literally means sacred wood, and like white sage, it originated with the native Indians of South America. For centuries, Native Americans used Palo Santo during ceremonies to cleanse the aura and heal from negative influences. In Europe, people also choose this sacred tree to cleanse their homes or simply to enjoy the scent of Palo Santo.

This wood has a warm, light aroma with a sweet touch. Compared to white sage (which is also used for the same purpose), Palo Santo has a very mild scent. We can’t imagine anyone who wouldn’t be enchanted by its natural and therefore spiritual scent.

Palo Santo wood is sourced from Peru and Ecuador. These trees are very rare, so they are not cut down. Palo Santo is only harvested from fallen trees.
