What exactly is Palo Santo?
Palo Santo literally means sacred wood, and like white sage, it originated with the native Indians of South America. For centuries, Native Americans used Palo Santo during ceremonies to cleanse the aura and heal from negative influences. In Europe, people also choose this sacred tree to cleanse their homes or simply to enjoy the scent of Palo Santo.
