DagnyLuxe® Silk Pillowcase for Skin and Hair Beauty
Thanks to the silk manufacturing technique and the properties of real silk, this pillowcase is breathable and provides excellent air permeability. The natural mulberry silk pillowcase reduces sweating during sleep and ensures an even temperature, keeping you warm in winter and cool in summer. Silk is composed of amino acid chains that have the same pH level as your skin. These proteins can help prevent skin aging and split ends. Silk also reduces the loss of natural skin oils and moisture.
Premium A6 grade silk
For optimal smoothness, softness and shine, only long-strand silk is used in the production of pillowcases. Grade A silk products are the best and highest quality silk products. On the other hand, C is the lowest grade. The number also performs a classification. For example, silk products can be 3A, 5A or 6A. 6A is the highest. So when you see a silk product with a 6A grade, you can be sure that it is the highest quality of that particular type of silk that you can buy.
If a textile product has the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 label, you can be sure that every component of this product, i.e. every thread, button and other accessories, has been tested for harmful substances and that the product is harmless to human health. The tests are carried out by OEKO-TEX® partner institutes based on the extensive OEKO-TEX® criteria catalogue. The tests determine whether the products meet certain criteria. The criteria catalogue is updated at least once a year and supplemented with new scientific findings or legal requirements.
How to care for your DagnyLuxe® silk pillowcase?
Hand washing your silk pillowcase. To make your pillowcase last longer, we recommend hand washing it. Wash your silk pillowcase by hand with a mild, pH-neutral liquid detergent. Hand washing can extend the life of your pillowcase and help maintain its shine, softness and silkiness. The smoother the silk pillowcase, the better it is for your skin and hair.
Washing your silk pillowcase in a washing machine. If you still want to wash your pillowcase in a washing machine, do so on the delicate cycle using cold water and a mild, pH-neutral liquid detergent. The pillowcase must be placed in a washing bag.
Drying your silk pillowcase. The most suitable drying method is natural drying in the shade. Do not dry in a washing machine or tumble dryer. Iron only at a very low temperature.
