Baobab (baobab tree) is a tropical tree belonging to the Bombacaceae family, which grows wild in Africa, Australia and Madagascar. The Africans call it the magic tree, the pharmacist’s tree and the tree of life; the name “Baobab” probably comes from the Arabic BUHIBAB (fruit with many seeds). Baobab oil has remarkable beneficial properties for the skin and hair.
BENEFITS FOR THE SKIN
Burns and scalds: whether caused by improper exposure to sunlight or burns of varying degrees, it helps to reduce the feeling of discomfort.
Red stretch marks: these are scars and therefore cannot be removed with conventional beauty treatments. However, when they are still red (i.e. in their early stages), baobab oil helps to reduce their appearance, preventing them from turning white. It is also useful during pregnancy and breastfeeding to prevent stretch marks and tears on the breasts.
Acne: It is an excellent natural remedy for acne. It helps reduce inflammation, relieves discomfort and prevents further progression.
Psoriasis: Reduces itching and helps reduce inflammation.
Mycosis: Fights fungal infections of the skin, helping to resolve diseases such as athlete’s foot, athlete’s foot, pityriasis and nail mycosis.
Anti-aging: A major antioxidant, it protects against free radicals and neutralizes the signs of aging. Also ideal for dry skin. Contractions: Suitable for toning and relaxing massages to relieve muscle pain and muscle contractures.
HAIR BENEFITS

It nourishes the hair, softens it and makes it elastic.
It can be used on both wet and dry hair.
For people with oily scalps, it should be used in very small amounts before drying and only on the ends.
It can be used as a pre-shampoo treatment and as a leave-in treatment for dry, brittle and frizzy hair.
